M. Natarajan, the husband of V.K. Sasikala, who is currently admitted to the Liver Intensive Care Unit at the Gleneagles Global Health City here, is recovering well, a statement from the hospital said.
“Both his transplanted liver and kidney are functioning well. He still requires intermittent ventilatory support through tracheostomy. He is fully awake and is communicating. He continues to require close observation and monitoring within the Intensive Care Unit,” said a statement issued by K. Ilankumaran, director, Institute of Liver Disease and Transplantation.
