Moot court competition

The Faculty of Law, ICFAI University, Hyderabad, won TARKA SASTRA 2015, a national level moot court competition conducted by the School of Law, SASTRA University. The final round was judged by retired Madras High Court Judge K. Sampath, senior advocates R. Murari and Chitra Narayan. About 16 law schools from various parts of the country including from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Odisha and Ahmedabad participated in this moot court competition, the final of which was held on Sunday.

The winning team got a trophy and cash Rs.50,000 while the runner’s up Symbiosis Law School, Pune, was awarded a trophy and cash prize of Rs.25,000.
