‘Connect Coimbatore’ to begin March 5

The tenth edition of ‘Connect Coimbatore’, an event to promote information and communication technology (ICT), would be held here on March 5.

The theme of this year’s edition, “innovative ICT for world class enterprises,” reflected the need for organisations to use more of IT into their business to be successful and reduce cost, the organisers said.

This also reflected the need for IT companies to constantly innovate to become a more global player from presently being the fastest growing market in Asia Pacific Region, they said.

The conference would have sessions like Enablers for Growth — platform for the enterprise, enablers for growth — next frontiers, growth opportunities for IT and beyond IT and with a valedictory session on ‘What next for the SME entrepreneur and what will it take to succeed’, the sources said.

Case studies of IT companies that have innovated for the benefit of others and the case studies of organisations that have used innovative IT as a tool to keep themselves competitive and sustain their competitiveness, would be presented at the one-day conference, they said.
