The district administration has announced local holidays for all educational institutions and government offices across the district on March 4 on account of ‘Ayyasamy Vaikundar Avadara Thinavizha’, and on March 10 in view of the 10-th day festival of Mandaicaud Bagavathi Amman Temple.
However, treasury offices in the district will function with a skeletal strength.
The local holidays would be compensated on April 18 and May 9, according to a press release from the Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan.
