Killed in accidents

Two men were killed and one man was injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a BMTC bus on Bannerghatta Road on Wednesday afternoon. Police identified the deceased as Devaraj (22), a resident of Tavarekere, and Ravi (20), a resident of Bannerghatta. Mounesh, the pillion rider, was injured.

Devaraj was riding the motorcycle without wearing a helmet, and there were two men riding pillion.

The motorcycle collided with a BMTC bus near Kalkere. The impact of the collision was such that Devaraj and Ravi were thrown off their vehicle and the bus ran over them. In the second accident, a vegetable vendor was run over by an unidentified vehicle Yeshwantpur on Wednesday. The deceased, K.V. Srinivas, a resident of Bagalakunte, owned a vegetable shop in RMC Yard.
