Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamy, the seer of Kanchi Mutt, was taken to a hospital in Chennai on Sunday after his health condition reportedly deteriorated in the evening.
According to Kanchi Mutt sources, the senior pontiff has developed complications and had to be hospitalised Sunday evening. He was rushed to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Porur, Chennai.
