Delhi Police Crime Branch which is probing the case believes that Shah Faisal’s statement can be a crucial link in unearthing the money trail though they are yet to link Faisal to the source side which is allegedly sidelined AIADMK (Sasikala faction) leader T.T.V. Dhinakaran.

Another hawala operator whose name has cropped up during investigations is Gopi.
