Protesting the arrest of party cadres in Namakkal, Mr. Stalin and others took out a black flag rally in front of Raj Bhavan and they were prevented a few yards away from the main entrance. They continued their agitation on the road leading chaotic traffic in the area.

"Showing black flags is an accepted form of protest in democracy. All of sudden, our cadres were caught and incarcerated in prison. We do not demand their release. The Governor, who is responsible for such draconian act and depriving the rights of State should resign immediately. We are conducting the agitation laying emphasis on his resignation," said Mr. Stalin
