The Main Falls and the Five Falls in Courtallam witnessed the ‘first flood’ of the current season on Saturday evening.
With the incessant drizzle gaining strength in the evening, the Main Falls and the Five Falls experienced flood forcing police to tell tourists keep a distance from the waterfalls as the flood brought down stones and small braches of trees. As the rain continued, the waterfalls were swelling around 7 p.m.
However, the tourists were allowed to take bath in the Old Courtallam Falls and the Tiger Falls.
