Dy. SP holds meeting with bank officials in Vallam

Vallam Deputy Superintendent of Police S. Kannan, under instruction from Thanjavur SP G. Dharmarajan, convened a meeting of bankers in Vallam Sub Division on Wednesday to sensitise them to the need to maintain heightened vigil for banks’ safety. Officials from 13 nationalised banks, three private banks, 31 primary agricultural cooperative societies and 30 pawn brokers participated in the meet. They were told about the need to install and maintain CCTV and appoint night watchman compulsorily for more safety. They were instructed to switch on lights on the front side after doors are shut for the day .
