Drive to link electoral rolls with Aadhaar begins today

Forms available at VAOs, taluk offices, voting booths

The linking of Aadhaar numbers with the electoral rolls is slated to commence here in the district from Tuesday.

The drive to link Aadhaar numbers to the electorate rolls will be done at all taluk offices in Palacode, Harur, Paapireddypatty, and Pennagaram under the aegis of the Tahsildars, and village administrative officers.

The relevant application forms are available at the office of the VAOs, taluk offices and designated voting booths.

Further, those yet to get their Aadhaar cards are requested to fill in relevant forms and submit it at the designated Aadhaar centers firqa wise in the concerned taluks of Palacode, Harur, Paapireddypatty, Pennagaram, or at Dharamapuri Collectorate. Form 7 is for deletion of names that have been included twice in the electoral roll; form 6 is for inclusion of name; and form 8 is for change in address or revision of errors.

Voters are requested to have their Aadhaar numbers registered to their voter rolls at the designated voting booths upto May 31, 2015.
