The police arrested two workers and seized 152 detonators and 49 gelatin sticks from them in Omalur.
The police said that Arjunan (50), a farmer, decided to encroach the government vacant land in Umacoundampatti and brought the explosives.
Selvam (32) and Arivalagan (39) were involved in cleaning the land.

Based on tipoff, revenue officials and Thevattipatti police visited the place and found the explosives being used without permission. The police seized the explosives and arrested the two. Search is on for Arjunan.
