‘Cultivate reading habit’

The students should positively cultivate reading habit for building a bright future, said P. Anbalagan, Librarian, District Central Library.

He was speaking at library awareness programme at the Gugai Higher Secondary School in the city on Tuesday.

The District Central Library accounted for over 1.5 lakh books.

The government has provided important books needed for preparing for all sorts of competitive examinations, including Union Public Service Commission examinations, Mr. Anbalagan said and urged the student community to take full advantage of the same.

R. Palanivelu, headmaster, presided over the programme.
