Corporation to conduct special camp

The City Municipal Corporation would conduct a special camp between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Suramangalam Zone here on Thursday. Corporation Commissioner K.R. Selvaraj, in a press release that was issued here, said that residents can obtain property tax receipts, submit application for name transfer in property tax and water supply connections, obtain birth and death certificates, obtain building approvals and trade licences during the special camp. Mayor S. Soundappan, Deputy Mayor M. Natesan, Zone chairmen, councillors and committee chairmen would be participating in the camp and would receive petitions from members of the public regarding various problems. Hence, residents were requested to submit their applications with required documents and get various issues settled at the special camp conducted by the civic body. In addition to this, it was also announced that residents of wards coming under Hasthampatti Zone, the camp would be held on January 9 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the zone office. – Staff Reporter
