Contract workers of Tamil Nadu Generation Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) staged a road roko demanding bonus as well as regularisation of services here on Wednesday.
Central Organisation of Tamil Nadu Electricity Employees- CITU (COTEE-CITU) organised the protest in front of the office of Superintending Engineer in Vengikkal.
S. Anandan, State joint secretary of COTEE led the road roko. Police arrested as many as 450 workers and released them in the evening.
