Complaints cell on electrical equipment

A complaint cell has been constituted in the district to receive petitions from the members of the public about sale of poor quality electrical appliances and construction material.

In a release issued here on Friday, S.Palanisamy, District Collector, said that it was mandatory on the part of shopkeepers to ensure that electrical equipment sold by them is ISI-certified.

Those interested in lodging a complaint with the district administration could contact the specials cell set up for the purpose by dialling 04365-251170, the Collector said.
