Periyar University here will celebrate the birth anniversary of Periyar by conducting competitions for students of colleges affiliated to the university in the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri next month. The university will conduct elocution, essay writing, painting, and poem composing competitions on different topics.
