Body of one more teen, who drowned in the Tamirabharani on Thursday evening, was retrieved on Friday.
Hasan (15) and Bhahumi (18) of Melapalayam drowned in the Tamirabharani when they were taking bath in Vilagam area on Thursday evening. Though rescue operation was launched immediately, the rescuers could retrieve only the body of Hasan.
When the rescue operation resumed on Friday morning, the body of Bhahumi was retrieved. Both the bodies were taken to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
