The Bharatiya Janata Party condemned the attack on Kalakaddu Union General Secretary Muthuraman in Erwadi in Tirunelveli district recently.
The party demanded the police to arrest the culprits involved in the attack. In connection with this, the party staged a demonstration in front of the Collectorate on Saturday. Over 100 members including women participated in the demonstration. They raised slogans against the perpetrators of attack against the leader.
The demonstration was presided over by R. Ganesan, District President.

Meanwhile, the two-day training camps for the party cadres began in Colechel and Mugilanvilai on Saturday, party sources here said.
