M. Dinesh Nallasivan of K. Reddiyarpatti in Tirunelveli district, who ended his life due to dejection over his father’s addiction to liquor, secured 1024 marks in Plus Two public examinations, the results of which were announced on Wednesday.
The boy committed suicide by hanging from a rail overbridge in Tirunelveli on May 2. His score in Tamil and Mathematics was 194 each. He got 186 marks in Physics, 173 in Chemistry, 148 in English and 129 in Biology, a relative of the boy said.

Collector Sandeep Nanduri told
The Hindu that there was no request from the victim’s family for financial aid, but however, the district administration would recommend to the government some assistance to the family from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The Collector said the boy had performed well in the exams, bud sadly he was no more.
