Tamil Nadu Youth Congress office-bearers assume office

The newly-elected office-bearers of the Tamil Nadu Youth Congress formally assumed office at Sathyamurthy Bhavan on Sunday in the presence of TNCC president K. V. Thangkabalu and Congress Legislative Party leader D. Sudarsanam.

Talking to reporters, Youth Congress president M. Yuvaraj said that he, along with other office-bearers, would set up units in 13,000 panchayats in the State, by hoisting Congress flags. “As many as 12 lakh youth have joined the Youth Congress and we will constructively utilise their service for the party. There is no factionalism,” he averred.

Vice-president S.P. Varadharajan, general secretaries R. Gayathri, K. Mahendran, S. Prabhu, J. Vijay Ilanchezhian, Dr. Hameed Saheer Abbas, K. Arthanari and S. Sathya also assumed office.
