Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will embark on a two-day visit of Tiruvannamalai district from Saturday.
He will participate in host of government, college as well as DMK party programmes in Tiruvannamalai and Vandavasi taluks.
Announcing Mr. Stalin's programmes at a press meet organised here on Friday, Food minister and DMK district secretary E.V. Velu said that the Deputy Chief Minister would arrive in Tiruvannamalai district on Friday night itself.

On Saturday, he would participate in State-level students' competitions organised by the DMK youth wing in view of 102nd birthday of C.N. Annadurai. Over 2000 student participants from across the State would take part.
“Then he will inaugurate a few buildings and a seminar at SKP Engineering College on his way to Kilpennathur where he will participate in a government function. At the function he will inaugurate Kilpennathur Integrated Drinking Water Project and several other buildings. That apart, he will hand over revolving fund to 1,500 woman SHGs and open plaques of several upcoming projects,” Mr. Velu said.
On Sunday morning, he will participate in students' competition again and then proceed to take part in Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's birthday celebrated belatedly in the DMK's district office where he will gift party cadres mopeds, bicycles, and dresses.

Then he will proceed to open Periyar Memorial Samathuvapuram constructed at Meesanallur in Thellaru block and then participate in a government function organised at Vandavasi, where he will inaugurate Kilkodungalur Integrated Drinking Water Programme, new bus stand named after Mr. Karunanidhi and new municipal office named after Periyar E.V. Ramasamy.
