Sonia to address rally in Chennai

Congress president Sonia Gandhi will address an election rally here, along with leaders of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led Democratic Progressive Alliance, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M. Karunanidhi, on Tuesday afternoon.

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K.V. Thangkabalu, who inspected the arrangements for the public meeting at Island Grounds on Sunday, told presspersons that the time of her arrival would be announced later.

While Mr. Thangkabalu would preside over the meeting, those invited include Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S.Ramadoss and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol,.Thirumavalavan.
