Rahul Gandhi to visit State

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Tamil Nadu next week.

According to party sources, a team of Youth Congress leaders from Delhi, led by Prithviraj Sathe, general secretary of the Youth Congress, and Priyavarth Singh, National Co-ordinator, and in charge of Tamil Nadu, had a meeting with a number of Youth Congress representatives at the party headquarters here on Saturday.

Sources said that Mr. Rahul Gandhi would meet the office-bearers of the parliamentary and assembly committees in the State and the meetings would be held at six places.

They would discuss the party affairs and chalk out the strategy to strengthen it, they added.
