The Young Indians (Yi), Salem chapter, under the aegis of Confederation of Indian Industry signed a memorandum of understanding with Royal Park School on Friday for setting up YUVA unit for launching various youth leadership development initiative.

Under this programme, the Young Indians will involve the students of the school in leadership, personality development and nation building activities.

The Yi YUVA project envisions connecting students to the community and the country at large and working towards a movement for nation building through a series of interaction sessions with entrepreneurs and professionals from diverse background. The MoU was signed in the presence of M. Venkatesh, correspondent of the school, D. Sangeetha, principal, Yatin B. Shah, Chair, Young Indians, Salem chapter, and Dinesh K. Amudhan, Chair, YUVA, Yi Salem chapter.
