MDMK honours Plus Two topper

The Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's Tirunelveli city unit, which honours the State Plus Two and SSLC toppers from the southern districts every year, honoured this year's Plus Two topper from Tuticorin, Pandian, on Saturday.

Party's Tirunelveli city district secretary K.M.A. Nizam presented a gold coin, a shield and shawl to Mr. Pandian on Saturday as he had come to visit his relatives at V.M. Chathram near Palayamkottai.

Mr. Nizam also presented a shield and a shawl to S. Suganya, who stood second in the district.
