MBBS student killed in accident

A 22-year-old MBBS student was killed in a road accident near Krishnagiri on Sunday night. Sivaprakash, pursuing MBBS in a private medical college in Chennai, was proceeding to Krishnagiri from Madhepalli Village near Veppanahalli on a bike with his uncle Baskar. According to police, Baskar, who was riding the bike, lost control of his vehicle when he tried to avoid hitting a pig on the road and rammed it in to a mini lorry coming in the opposite direction. Sivaprakash died on the spot. Baskar was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore. Kuruparapalli police have registered a case and are investigating.
