Labour Department's new website launched

Labour Minister T.M. Anbarasan launched a new website of the Labour Department here on Thursday. www.labour.tn.gov.in will have all information about the department and various welfare boards of unorganised workers.

The Minister also released the department's quarterly journal, which will contain government orders statistical data about the department and special articles on issues concerning labour. The journal will be in English and Tamil. The Minister also declared open renovated visitors' room at the Labour Commissioner's Office.

Labour Secretary T. Prabhakara Rao, Commissioner and Principal Secretary Hans Raj Verma were present.
