The State government has ordered the transfers of the following IAS officers. Rajendra Ratnoo IAS, Director of Fisheries and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd. has been transferred and posted as Collector, Cuddalore district, in the place of V. Amuthavalli IAS, transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department. V. Sampath IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Explosives Ltd., has been transferred and posted as Collector, Villuppuram district, vice C.T. Manimekalai IAS, transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department.
Dr. R. Kannan IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department has been transferred and posted to act as Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Survey and Settlement vice Swaran Singh IAS holding additional charge.
Dr. T.S. Sridhar IAS Additional Chief Secretary to Government, School Education Department, shall hold full additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, according to an official release.
