Haj seat allotment

The Haj Committee of India will allot confirmed seats for Haj pilgrims over 70 years and their companion.

According to a release from the Tamil Nadu State Haj Committee, pilgrims of over 70 years of age as on March 31, 2011, along with only one companion can avail themselves of confirmed seats during Haj 2011.

Under no circumstances, companions would be allowed to go alone if such pilgrims of over 70 years were to cancel his\her journey, it added.

The last date for acceptance of applications for the pilgrims above 70 years will be the same as of general category —April 30, 2011.
