K.S.Divya, a Computer Science and Engineering student of EBET Group of Institutions, Kangayam, emerged first in the National Level VMWare NSX Network Virtualization contest conducted by VMware Software India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, in association with ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, earlier this year.
Divya, now in third year, prevailed over 5,000 students from leading institutions including IITs, Indian Institutes of Science, VIT, universities and top engineering colleges to win the first prize and receive a certificate and a laptop as the prize.
VMWare NSX Network Virtualization contest was a puzzle-based tournament. Upon registering, participants will be provided with access to VMWare's eLearning training material for free on NSX Network Virtualization.

The two-level puzzle-based tournament comprised leagues and finals. Every registered participant was allowed to play leagues and those who qualified played finals.
There were four rounds in league match that entailed answering 15 questions for each round.
Each question carried 3 marks and the answers had to be completed in 45 minutes.

One-fourth of the league toppers were allowed to attend final.
There were three rounds with 20 questions on each round carrying 5 points for each question and the duration was 40 minutes.
Divya, who attributed the victory to dedicated support of faculty members and the institution, was felicitated by correspondent of EBET Group of Institutions K.P.Duraisamy, director P.Govindasamy, and dean-Faculty of Management AGV Narayanan.
