The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu on Sunday allotted one seat to the Perunthalaivar Makkal Katchi, a forum floated by the Nadar community, for the April 13 assembly polls in the state.
“Both parties signed an agreement in this regard at the DMK headquarters here after talks with DMK president and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi,” Katchi organiser N.R. Dhanapalan told reporters here.
Mr. Dhanapalan said they would contest on the DMK symbol.
