In an attempt to speed up the process of digitising court proceedings, the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court S.K. Kaul has appointed an Assistant Registrar in the cadre of a civil judge for the e-court project.
On December 26, 2016, the State government sanctioned one post of Assistant Registrar in the High Court. Following the Government Order, C.B. Vedagiri, presently the Assistant Editor-II, Tamil Law Journal, High Court, Madras functioning as Officer on Special Duty, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Registrar (e-court project).
