3 more PMK men detained under Goondas Act

Three more cadres of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) were detained under the Goondas Act for stone pelting on buses in Dharmapuri district on Thursday.

On the basis of the recommendation of Dharmapuri Superintendent of Police Asra Garg, the District Collector R. Lilly issued the orders for detaining the three under Goondas Act.

Those detained under the Goondas Act were D. Muthu (24), K. Manickam (24) and C. Chinnasamy (34) of Rajakollahalli village under the Dharmapuri Police Station limit.

With this, the detention of PMK cadres under Goondas Act has gone up to four and under NSA rose to three in Dharmapuri district.

Apart from these, two other PMK cadre were arrested in connection with damage caused to government buses in different places during stone pelting in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts.
