A total of 1,843 cases were solved and claims to the tune of Rs. 5,17,26,000 were settled at the mega Lok Adalat held here on Saturday.
The Lok Adalat camps were held in five locations in Krishnagiri, Hosur, Uthangarai, Pochampalli and Denkanikottai under the respective judges. The camps witnessed resolution of all types of cases including cheque bounce, accident claims, pro-note cases, and family affairs, including maintenance claims etc.
Of the total 3,191 cases, 1,843 were disposed of. Accident claims to the tune of Rs. 23,54,780 were settled.
