Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will travel to the earthquake-stricken Sikkim on Wednesday, party sources said. He will visit some of the hospitals, where the injured have been admitted, and a few of the areas devastated by the September 18 earthquake, which left at least 82 persons dead.
Party sources stressed that given the terrain and the nature of the destruction, Mr Gandhi's tour would be limited.
