President Pranab Mukherjee was discharged from hospital on Friday. He was admitted to the Army's Research and Referral hospital following complaints of stomach problem, and later underwent a coronary angioplasty after doctors detected a blockage in his heart.
Officials of the President's Secretariat said Mr. Mukherjee has recovered and will meet the visiting Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid this evening. A banquet will also be hosted for Mr. Hamid who is staying in the Rashtrapati Bhavan's guest wing.
