The BJP-led NDA on Monday held a meeting at the residence of L.K. Advani to chalk out its strategy to take on the government on a range of issues, including price rise and corruption, in the winter session of Parliament beginning on Tuesday.
The meeting, which started at around 5 p.m., was attended by BJP President Nitin Gadkari, NDA convenor and JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav, Shiv Sena leaders Manohar Joshi and Anant Geete and Shiromani Akali Dal’s Naresh Gujral, besides leaders of opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley.
The NDA is also to decide on whether to support the Left’s adjournment motion on price rise, in Parliament. The NDA may also move a separate adjournment motion on the issue.

BJP deputy leader in Rajya Sabha S.S. Ahluwalia was also present in the meeting.
The BJP Parliamentary Party’s executive had earlier met in the morning at Mr. Advani’s residence to formulate the party’s strategy in the forthcoming Parliament session.
Filing of declaration by all NDA MPs in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha stating that they do not possess any illegal wealth or bank accounts abroad, is one the issues likely be discussed at the meeting.

Mr. Advani had on Sunday announced at a rally at Ramlila grounds, on completion of his Jan Chenta Yatra, that all NDA MPs will file declaration before Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari that they do not possess any illegal wealth abroad, in a bid to corner the UPA on the issue of black money.
