Modi’s Shanghai menu: Stewed porcini, sautéed asparagus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was treated to Shanghai vegetarian specials at a lunch hosted by Shanghai Party Secretary Han Zheng.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hosted in Shanghai for a banquet, during which delectable dishes, including stewed porcini, sautéed asparagus and lotus seed and chilled mango sago cream and fresh fruits, were served.

Mr. Modi was hosted for a banquet by Shanghai Party Secretary Han Zheng, during which the vegetarian dishes were served.

The menu comprised of double boiled bean curd soup, stewed porcini — a much sought-after mushroom — pancake with vegetable, sautéed asparagus and lotus seed, vegetables in curry sauce with rice and chilled mango sago cream and fresh fruits, according to a Ministry of External Affairs tweet.
