Mild tremor hits West Bengal

A mild tremor of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale hit North Bengal on Friday.

The earthquake with its epicentre in the Terai Dooars region of Jalpaiguri district was felt at 3.27 p.m, MeT officials said.

There was no report of any injury or damage to property.
