A slight intensity earthquake, measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale, shook the Andaman Islands on Friday morning.
The tremors were felt at around 6:00 am, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) release said in New Delhi.
“The epicentre of the quake was located at 12.9 degrees North on the latitude and 92.8 degrees East on the longitude,” it said.
