Has she softened her stand regarding the Teesta Water Sharing treaty?

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bangladesh next month.

Ms Banerjee on Thursday agreed to accompany the Prime Minister after a formal request came from the Centre. The visit assumes bilateral and political significance as Ms. Banerjee had refused to accompany the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his visit to Bangladesh in September 2011.

The Hindu , Trinamool Congress secretary general and State's Education Minister Partha Chaterjee said that the visit of Chief Minister will further strengthen the country's relation with Bangladesh.

"We want a win-win situation for both India and Bangladesh. The presence of the Chief Minister will ensure that interest of West Bengal is not jeopardised," Mr. Chaterjee said.

While the Chief Minister has already given her nod to the Land Boundary Agreement, it is believed that she has also softened her stand regarding the Teesta Water Sharing treaty in recent months.
