Two youths were killed and two others sustained critical injuries after two bikes collided at Adukka near Bandiyode, some 10 km from Kumbla. The accident occurred around 9.30 p.m. on Sunday as the bike driven by Joel D’Souza, 22, hit another motorbike at an intersection near Kayyar church killing pillion rider Jeevan Rodriques, on the spot, the police said. D’Souza, who was shifted to a hospital in Mangalore succumbed on Monday evening, they said. Kamalaksha and his friend Guruprasad, 23, a resident of Bandiyode, moving in the other bike are being treated at a Mangalore hospital, the police said. —Staff Reporter
