Yajnom at Aranmula temple

A Srimad Bhagavatha Saptaha Yajnom followed by Pushpabhishekom will be held at the Sree Parthasarathy temple at Aranmula from May 4 to 10.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, T.A. Anilkumar, temple advisory committee secretary, said temple chief priest (Tantri) Akkeeramon Kalidasan Bhattathiri would light the ceremonial lamp at the Yajna mandapam at 7 p.m. on Monday.

Thazhoor Jayan would be the Yajnacharya. Thazha Binu Narayanan would perform the rituals. The Yajnom would come to a close with Pushpabhishekom on May 10. The flowers and sandal paste for the Pushpabhishekom and Kalabhabhishekom would be brought to the Aranmula temple in a procession from the Vilakkumadom temple at Edayaranmula.
