The Fish Farmers’ Development Agency (FFDA) here will organise a one-day training on advancements in shrimp farming for shrimp farmers of the region on November 24. A press release here on Sunday said that the training programme would be held at Hotel Safire Hall on Tuesday. Balasubrahmanyan, Principal Scientist, Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai, would handle a session on best management practices in shrimp farming, it said. District panchayat president P.P. Divya will inaugurate the training programme. Shrimp farmers should contact organisers for registration (0497-2732340), the release said.
