To Let , directed by Spandan Banerjee and produced by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT), has won the award for the best long documentary at the sixth International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala, which concluded here on Tuesday.
This or That Particular Person , which looks at what identity documents like Aadhaar mean to people, and Local , a five-minute romantic story set in a city slum, bagged the best short documentary award and the best short fiction award respectively.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy distributed the awards at a function presided over by Minister for Culture K.C. Joseph. Director Spandan Banerjee and producer PSBT would share a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and a certificate for the best long documentary.

The Navroze Conhactor award for the best documentary cinematographer went to Saurav Sarangi for the film
The best music video award was bagged by The Drowning Song directed by Sandya Daisy Sunderam and produced by the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. The best animation film award, which carries a purse of Rs.25,000 and a certificate, was bagged by Black or White directed by Jithin Das and Sibin Anto and produced by the FTII.
