Thrissur leading in State CBSE arts fest

Over 8,000 students from across State participating in fest

Thrissur Sahodaya was leading with 754 points at the conclusion of the second day of the State CBSE arts festival at Vazhakulam near here on Friday.

Malabar Sahodaya was in the second place with 663 points followed by Central Kerala Sahodaya (640 points).

Thrissur Sahodaya was leading category-1 with 94 points. In Category-2 of the competition, Central Kerala Sahodaya was leading with 110 points while Malabar Sahodaya and Thrissur Sahodaya were leading in categories three and four respectively, according to a release issued by the organisers.

Over 8,000 students from across 1,400 CBSE schools in the State are attending the event.

Carmel CMI Public School, Vazhakulam, is the main venue of the fest organised by the Confederation of Kerala Sahodaya Complex and All Kerala CBSE Managements’ Association.

The fest will conclude on Sunday.
