Communist Party of India (Marxist) district secretary P. Jayarajan has said that he has been arraigned as accused in the E. Manoj murder case as part of the political witchhunt by the Centre.
Alleging that the CBI enlisted him as accused as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central government’s policy of hunting its political rivals, Mr. Jayarajan said the chargesheet was hastily submitted as part of that policy.
