Plan projects of local bodies approved

The annual plan projects of all the local bodies in the district have been approved by the District Planning Committee (DPC). The DPC meeting held at the District Panchayat Hall here on Monday sanctioned approval of the annual plan projects of the Aralam, Payam and Keezhur-Chavassery grama panchayats, Taliparamba block panchayat, and the Koothuparamba, Thalassery, Mattannur, Kannur, Taliparamba and Payyannur municipalities. With this, all the local bodies in the district including 81 grama panchayats, 11 block panchayats, six municipalities and the district panchayat secured the DPC approval for their plan projects. District panchayat president K.A. Sarala presided over the DPC meeting.
