Minister for Revenue and Coir Adoor Prakash has said that the government is considering setting up a permanent space for exhibitions of coir products and handicrafts in the district. The project will be undertaken on a public-private partnership (PPP) model.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday after reviewing the arrangements for Coir Kerala 2015, Mr. Prakash said visits had been made to various places, including Noida, where permanent venues have been established for holding similar events.

According to him, the government will proceed with the proposed project soon after obtaining the required land.
